“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness.”

- Brené Brown

“Vulnerabilidade soa como verdade e se parece com coragem. Verdade e coragem não são sempre confortáveis, mas nunca são fraquezas”.

From books and videos to movies and series, here are some suggested tools that can help you dive deeper into important issues. I hope these tips are able to generate benefits in your life!

Online study group

Adult children of emotionally immature parents are people who grew up with caregivers who had difficulty in dealing with their own emotions and relationships in a mature and healthy way. This can have a significant impact on their emotional and psychological development, leading to various challenges in adulthood.
The study group for the book Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents is an online space with weekly meetings for guided reading and exchanges on topics covered in the chapters.

Toxic Parenting

Although it is believed that adults are more mature than their children and that parents always know what they are doing, what practice shows is that these parents often do not have the necessary emotional structure to meet the needs of their own children, which generates negative effects on the development and also on the adult life of these children. The idea that parents can be toxic is still something very new, especially in Brazilian society, where religious issues make it very difficult to objectively observe parents' behaviors and also because this deeper analysis can generate feelings of guilt and a sense of betrayal.

What can attachment theory teach us about our love relationships?

Parenting Styles

In this article you will find information about parenting styles (PE), they are nothing more than an approach and strategies used by primary caregivers to interact with their sons and daughters. These styles are divided into four groups (authoritative, authoritarian, negligent and permissive) and can significantly influence the psychological, emotional and social development of children and also reflect on adult life.
